YOUTH & CHILDREN

Sunday mornings

At the Gospel Centre, we have a vibrant children’s work. Each Sunday the children and youth have their meetings during the service for discipleship & interactive teaching.

10-15s - Junior youth

The Foundry: Friday night youth

We are currently linked up with New Life Church Palmers Green, and do a shared club each Friday called the Foundry. It is a small friendly club for teenagers in years 7 upwards (anyone at secondary school).

Includes: GAMES, SPORTS, MUSIC, TOURNAMENTS, BIBLE DISCUSSION, SOCIAL EVENTS.

Weekends away

Since 2015 we have gone on a yearly weekend away in the countryside, playing capture the flag, launching water-balloons with a giant catapult and melting marshmallows on a campfire! This year we are mixing things up a bit and doing Slum Survivor, a simulation experience designed to help young people connect with the lives of some of the world's poorest.

Soul Survivor

We also go to Soul Survivor in August and link up with New Life Church and other churches in the area, going as a big group, all camping together, eating together and enjoying a great time of fun, friendship and God. This is open to those of secondary school age.

n:flame & LIFT

The n:flame Trust is a youth & schools work charity; n:flame, meaning simply "a flame for North London", with the vision to see the dust blown off the gospel message and Jesus proclaimed vibrantly to a young generation. The charity works North London schools and also connects and disciples youth from churches in the North London area.

Our partnership with n:flame involves being part of monthly Saturday night youth events called LIFT London, based in Tottenham - events with great music from Christian artists, youth worship and relevant messages. These events have been growing in 2018, and are attracting many local young people from church and non-church backgrounds.

The n:flame Trust also runs a local mission week called n:serve in the summer holidays where young people from different local churches are sent to host projects run by churches. These are mission projects designed to equip young people to live out their faith, serving the local area and sharing the Good news of Jesus.
