Lighthouse Bookstall

The success of the internet has made it difficult for small independent bookshops to survive. Which is a shame as there’s nothing quite like browsing in a bookshop and making an unexpected discovery – something you can’t do so easily on the web.
But here at the Gospel Centre we have bucked the trend and opened small, not for profit, Christian bookstall.  We have a passion to help people obtain Bibles, study books and good Christian reading material in general.  Our purpose-built bookstall is called “Lighthouse Books” and we stock a wide range of quality study Bibles, foreign language Bibles, children’s books and Bibles, gifts, greeting cards, worship CDs, DVDs and a host of other interesting bits and pieces just waiting to be discovered! There’s also a “lending library” section for films and books and we can order in whatever it is you might be looking for.

film club

In addition to our bookstall we also run a free monthly film club where we meet together on a Friday night at 7.30 to enjoy fellowship and watch a good movie together. Our next movie night is on Good Friday -30th March when we will be watching Risen.

 Starring Joseph Fiennes.

Witness one of the most important events in human history, through the eyes of a non-believer. Risen is a depiction of events.
